Reports that Laverge has examined the American Consul General in Mukden reports in reference to the accused and defense witnesses for possible use in the Manchurian phase. Mentions KOISO, ITAGAKI, DOIHARA, KANAI, KOMAI, MATSUKI, SHIMAMOTO. Concludes that the reports "provide many facts, clarifying hte general course of events from September 1931 to September 1932. Even if they cannot be used as evidence on account of their many references to banditry - to which I do not agree - they can be of interest to anybody who wants to cross examine the Defense witnesses." Includes excerpts "from botht eh general survey covering the period September 1931 to March 1932 and from the monthly reports from March 1932 to September 1932."
