Informs the IPS personnel that "Type 'B' military yen will be used for conversion and payrolls of US personnel." Also discusses Japan currency and how the conversion process of Japanese currency will work through the US Army Finance Office from February 26, 1946 through March 7, 1946 "after which date the present Bank of Japan currency will cease to be legal tender." Prohibits personnel for making conversions for "Japanese, Foreign Nationals, or any other unauthorized personnel through the Finance Office."
