Urad Z 13154 dtd 15 Aug states International Prosecution Sect does not desire Ott’s continued presence in Orient. A letter dtd 29 Aug 1946 addressed to Chief of Staff, Chinese War Theater, Shanghai, China signed by Frank S Tavenner, Junior, Special Assistant to the Chief of Council, was presented here by Ott. This letter states that there is possibility that he may be called as a witness in the International Prosecution Sect and that if such action is taken it will be within the next 4 months. If it is desired that Ott remain in Peiping for that period, arrangements now made with local Chinese authorities for his repatriation must be changed in order to permit his continued residence here.
