Which was bearing the brunt of defeating Hitlerite war machine. In this way Mongolia contributed its share to the victory over fascism.
In the decisive period of war against imperialist Japan, the oldest and most dangerous enemy of the Mongolian people, the army of the Mongolian People’s Republic directly participated in the war thus contributing its share also to the defeat of the Japanese aggressor.
The Declaration of the Little Hural and the Government of the Mongolian People’s Republic on August 10, 1945 on account of the declaration of war on Japan ran as follows:
“The Little Hural and the Government of the Mongolian People’s Republic inspired with eternal hopes of the Mongolian people to preserve their freedom, independence and sovereignty, counting upon the desire of Mongolian tribes to live as one family in peace with their democratic neighbours, as well as inspired with the unanimous desire of democratic states and freedom-loving nations of the world to achieve general peace as soon as possible, desiring to contribute their share to the cause of United Nations, hereby solemnly declare holy war on Japan on the side of the United Nations and fully concur in the Declaration of the Soviet
