All important telegrams sent from Ambassador OSHIMA to the Foreign Office. It is a fact that after the outbreak of the German Russian War several reports arrived from Ambassador OSHIMA to the affect that Germany was desirous of a Japanese attack on Soviet Russia. However, I do not remember that OSHIMA ever advocated as his personal opinion such an attack positively to the Japanese Government.
