economic collaboration with Germany and Italy in the East Asian and European fields so as to contri¬bute to the attainment of Japan1s aspirations. It was intended that Japan would make use of the emi¬grant and economic foothold which Germany and Italy had attained in South America in regard to such steps as Japan should in the future take with res-pect to the United States. 199 D.It was decided that Japan in the construction of an East Asian New Order should take such steps as the situation may require in order to eliminate the political and economic interests of Britain in East Asia, including the South Seas.
