Tavenner informs Keenan that he is impressed with the work Willis has completed and that he will do everything he can to help Willis. Discusses the recent favorable rulings that have expedited the trial, including those regarding the Manchurian Phase and the use of calling witnesses versus submitting affidavits. Alerts Keenan that in light of the unexpected calling of MINAMI by defense attorney Brooks to the stand, TOJO might be asked to testify in several of the phases. Tavenner expresses desire to have Fihelly present at the beginning of the Pacific phase in order to cross-examination TOJO should Blewett (from the defense team) call him.
