Explanation of the Two Documents

English translation of a Japanese original. The original document is from the Chief of Archives Section of the Foreigin Ministry, HAYASHI, Kaoru. The translation discusses the classification index of the Foreign Ministry records compiled in 1936 plus subsequent records from after 1936. It escaped burning and became a document used to to determine which documents had been lost. HAYASHI conludes that he made a complete search before writing his affidavit to determine which, if any, documents pertained to the CHANG KU FENG Incident and found that none did.
