Tavenner calls Sandusky's attention to questions regarding the HARADA Dairy that deal with OSHIMA and Count Ciano. Suggests that Sandusky "may want to develop the Ciano question about Japan's willingness to participate in war and SHIRATORI's answer that Japan would participate because the HARADA Diary later shows that the Emperor took ITAGAKI to task for supporting OSHIMA and SHIRATORI in making the declaration that Japan would participate in war which the Emperor termed was overstepping the Ambassador's prerogative."
