Refers to IPS Document 2534-E, Exhibit 3476 for identification, "an excerpt from the Tokyo Nichi Nichi for 30 August 1941, which states that OKA and MUTO attended the extraordinary session of the Cabinet on 29 August 1941, at which the negotations with the United States were discussed." States that it should be used in rebuttal because it attacks the credibility of OKA and Admiral OIKAWA, as well as shows that OKA was "not just an administrative subordinate of the Navy who merely obeyed orders, but was the liaison man for the Navy Ministry in dealing with the Cabinet on questions of policy."
