11 Japs Accused of Execution of Fliers Enter Pen Eleven Japanese war criminal suspects allegedly involved in executions of American B-29 fliers were among the 29 more suspects who have entered Sugamo prison recently, according to Lt. Col. Charles A. Reinhard, head of the Criminal Registry division of the SCAP legal section. Vice Adm. Masahi Kobayshi, commander of the Truk Island in 1944, reported to the prison after his apprehension was asked by the commander of the Marianas. The 17 others are allegedly implicated in various other war crimes in the Philippines, Japan, Chichi Jima, most of t hem for mistreatment of Allied war prisoners.
