Death Penalty Decreed for Kempei-tai Spy
Manila (UP) – Carmelito Victoria, convicted as a spy for the Japanese Kempei-tai, was sentenced to death “in a manner provided by law” and fined 20,000 pesos.
Victoria was charged with causing the torture deaths of four persons. He was the fourth spy sentenced to death by a people’s court. He said he would appeal the verdict.
