Matsuoka, War Crimes Defendant, In Hospital
Yosuke Matsuoka, defendant in the coming war crimes trials, was admitted to the 361st Station Hospital late yesterday to determine his fitness to stand trial.
Matsuoka, former Japanese foreign minister and one-time chief Japanese delegate to the League of Nations, was to be examined by two physicians, one named by the prosecution and one by the defense.
