Kill Aussie War Crimes Officials
Ambushed While Enroute from Prison Inspection
BATAVIA (UP) – Three members of an Australian war crimes commission were ambushed and murdered by Indonesian extremists, it was authoritatively reported.
They were returning from a visit to a Javanese prison camp at von-Dokgedeh, south of Bkitenzorg when a machine gun suddenly opened up on their jeep. Two bodies have been found, but the third is missing.
Four Australians travelling in another jeep jammed the throttle to the floor and escaped, although all were wounded.
