Gen. Aguinaldo Faces Treason Charges June 25
Manila, June 13 (AP) – Arraignment of General Emilio Aguinaldo, revolutionary leader and insurrectionist of 1898, on treason charges is scheduled for June 25 before the Peoples Court.
The indictment alleges that before Bataan fell Aguinaldo broadcast an appeal to General MacArthur to surrender, thus giving “aid and comfort to the Japanese.”
