Born in 1894; died in 1983. Member of the Swiss Legation that was detained at the Greenbrier Hotel Mission during the war. Papers relate to his discussions with Ernst W. Tannenberg. From 1925 to 1936 he was Commercial Attaché of the Swiss Embassy in Berlin. During his tenure there he was promoted to the legation. He subsequently became the Commercial Attaché of the Swiss Embassy in Washington, D. C. Following World War II, he was stationed in a number of South American countries and then in Greece.
