Jap Captain Charged with Fliers’ Deaths
Satoru Ono former Japanese Army captain, has been charged with ordering the bayoneting, shooting and beheading of two U. S. fliers in New Guinea.
The SCAP legal section said the executions allegedly took place in Ono’s presence as a form of revenge for casualties inflicted on his unit by American planes.
