Morgan forwards to Ladd the text of some telegrams sent by Senor Cortazar of the Spanish Consul. The telegrams discuss members of the Japanese Legation currently detained at the Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

Morgan forwards to Ladd organizational charts of "the different Japanese organizations which be of interest to the Bureau." Includes information about the Japanese Embassy in the United States as well as the Japanese Cabinet Intelligence Department.

Morgan forwards to Ladd information obtained from Kyusuke Hoshide, a confidential informant, regarding the composition and aims of the Japanese national administration.

Morgan transmits to Ladd written material in Japanese that confidential informant Kysuke Hoshide game to him. The material apparently contained information regarding what was being taught in the Japanese school that was at the Greenbrier Hotel for Japanese nationals. The materials are not included.

Morgan recounts to Ladd an interview he had with Kyusuke Hoshide, an "informant among the Japanese now being detained at the Greenbrier Hotel, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia." Hoshide told Morgan information regarding Ichitaro Yawata, a clerk in the Japanese Embassy at Washington, D.C. Mentions machine tools purchased prior to the outbreak of war as well as airplane parts.
