Four Japs to Hang for Cebu Atrocities
Manila (AP) – Four Japanese were sentenced to hang for shooting and beheading 32 Filipino and Chinese civilians on Jan. 30, 1945 on Cebu.
Another Japanese tried with them was acquitted.
Col. Francis House headed the trial commission which decreed death for Major Jiro Mizoguchi, Sgt. Maj. Shigemosa Hirato, Corp. Kinzo Senuki and Corp. Takichi Katzuka.
