Manila, P.I. (AP) – Commenting on the death sentence meted out to Lt. Gen. Masaharu Homma, President Sergio Osmena of the Philippine Commonwealth said: “The verdict meets with the legitimate expectations of the Filipino people. It also answers the universal demand for the establishment of a reign of law, justice and morality in the conduct of nations.”
