Three Jap Navy Men Go on Trial at Guam
Guam (AP) – Three Japanese navy officers accused of murdering American war prisoners have gone on trial before a military commission, the Navy announced.
Defendants were Lt. Kiroku Horie, accused of killing about 2 American on Wake island in 1942-43 and one Capt. Susumu Kawasaki and Cmd. Kiharu Cho accused of participating with Horie in the beheading of a single prisoner.
