Demand Japs Name Subs That Sank 9 Allied Ships
Tokyo, Nov. 25 (AP) – Supreme headquarters yesterday directed the Japanese government to provide occupation forces with the names of the submarines responsible for sinking nine allied vessels. The ships sunk were the U.S.S. Richard Harvey, the British Daisy Moller, Ascot, Sutley, Chivalry, Duth; the Norewegian Tjisalak, and the French Scotia and Jean Nicolet. There was no elaboration on the directive.
