Born in 1869 in Pennsylvania; died in 1962. Personal correspondent with Roy L. Morgan. Lived in Greensboro, North Carolina. While attending the International YMCA Training School in Springfield, Massachusetts, he participated in one of the original games of basketball with James Naismith. Attended Hamline University in Minnesota. Worked for the YMCA in New York and was their first Secretary of the YMCA Retirement Fund. Wrote a book titled “How to Retire and Like It” published in 1942. Retired to Greensboro, North Carolina in 1942.
