GENERAL HEADQUARTERS SUPREME COMMANDER FOR THE ALLIED POWERS INTERNATIONAL PROSECUTION SECTION 24 September 1947 Memorandum to the Members of the Staff It is advisable that a committee be set up for the purpose of approving the documents to be sued in rebuttal evidence for the Prosecution and to give such assistance as may from time to time be found necessary in preparing rebuttal evidence. Therefore a committee composed of Brigadier Quilliam, as Chairman, and A. Comyns Carr and D. N. Sutton, as associates, is hereby appointed to perform these general duties. You are requested to give full cooperation to this committee in its important work. Details of the operation of the committee will be given you after the committee begins to function. You are also reminded that it is important that you submit to Mr. Sutton at the earliest practicable date a report of the defense evidence relating to your particular accused in accordance with previous instructions.
