To members of the staff to whom accused have been assigned. Tavenner informs the staff that while preparing the name index, they should make references to pages and not to paragraph numbers. Tavenner then indicates "Section L (Japan's Military Preparadness) and Section L (Naval Activities) reports are attached." These attachments contain misstatements in the defense summation from Section L.
