Born in 1900 in Italy; died in 1967 in Italy. Also known as Prince Pignatelli (Duke of Montecalvo, Marquess of Paglieta, Marquess of San Marco Locatola). Member of the diplomatic corps. Assigned in 1947 in Washington, D. C. to “prepare a history of the prosecution before the IMTFE” and that he subsequently travelled to Tokyo for that purpose. In his resignation letter to Tavenner, he stated that the terms he agreed to included that he would be given a division in order to help with the project. The promised historical division never materialized.
