Former Reich Ambassador to Japan Queried News Article

Description: 
Reports on the fact that Eugene Ott, former German ambassador to Japan, is currently being interrogated by Joseph B. Keenan's prosecution team in Tokyo, "leading to speculation that he is revealing facts concerning the German colony in Japan for possible use in war crimes trials." Also reports that two Russian officials, I. M. Zarynov and S. A. Golunsky, have been nominated for membership on the tribunal. Finally, updates on Homma's trial in Manila are included.

Advice to Plotkin Upon Arrival in Tokyo

Description: 
Farrell requests Plotkin to contact Keenan when he arrives in Tokyo. He includes three letters of introduction. Farrell then relates the events that happened when, in Canton, he "captured a radio station that was being used by the Bureau Ehrhardt, otherwise known as the German High Command's intelligence agency, Abwehr One." Mentions signed confessions he obtained from all involved. He also possesses evidence of German - Japanese agreement on smuggling wolfram (the chemical agent tungsten) out of China. He concludes by asking Plotkin to present this matter to Keenan.
